Makeup Revolution HUGE Haul, Swatches and Giveaway

Revolution is here!
I wasn't expecting to be caught by it but something told me I need to try new makeup brand Makeup Revolution from UK.
I instantly made an order over Easter weekend and took advantage of their offer.
Ličila.si, Slovenian retailer for this brand, also sent me some extra goodies.
Additionally, Customer service from Makeup Revolution was super nice and they sent me extra batch of goodies just for you (I wasn't aware until I got mail after shipment).
So you can basically win a Giveaway with my personal picks from the brand!

Let's start with their most popular items - palettes. They carry dupes for all three UD Naked palettes and the quality seems to be great as much as I've heared. Now, I already own all 3 Naked palettes so I didn't feel urge to buy similar shades. I choose between other neutral palettes and got gifted Matte Brights from Ličila.si.  I tried and swatched all eyeshadows over UD Primer Potion in Eden.

Romantic Smoked Palette - 4£, link
I'm pretty in love with this color scheme! It's a perfect mix of taupes, violets and neutrals. There are 6 matte shades and 6 shimmery ones. Pigmentation is incredible and shades are really blendable. I was pretty surprised since I expected more crumbling or at least ''dusting''. Highly recommend due to great color combination and amazing pigmentation.

Essential Mattes Palette - 4£, link
You can never go wrong with a matte palette if it's pigmented enough. Again, I was expecting poor quality and lack of blendability but all shades are fairly pigmented and soft. None of them disappoint, just be prepared to ''layer'' lighter colors (first four). Again, highly recommend these matte shades, there are even some dupes from UD Naked Basics.

Matte Brights Palette - 4£ , link
Ličila.si sent me bright colourful shades with matte finish. I was pretty disappointed with this particular palette. There's hardly any pigmentation on lighter shades but the stronger colors, especially greens, are just okay. You can see I've scrapped out light blue shade to make it work but there's just nothing to it. This palette reminds me on those cheap makeup suitcases - I just get chills. Nope, you don't need this palette, I suggest you to try out Sleek instead.

Kajal - 2£ , link
It's an average black eye pencil for lining your eyes. Truthfully I didn't even know how to use it at first. Color isn't super intense but you can definitely build it up with couple of swipes. Smudging it with a q-tip makes it less pigmented but still gives smokey effect. I'm okay with it, not one of my favourites from the brand.

The One Foundation Shade 1 (30ml) - 4£, link
This is my favorite product out of the bunch. I love thin consistency and the fact that Shade 1 is white. I can mix it with any foundation and make it lighter. It's really, really liquidy and has a sheer coverage. The only sad part is, you need a lot of it since it's sheer. However it's really buildable and easy to blend, not too matte or too dewy. I already stocked up with a backup. Again, highly recommend!

Focus & Fix Eye Primer Matte - 2,50£, link
This primer leaves a slight ''concealer tint'' so it's perfect for covering veins and blue undertones on eyes. It's fairly longlasting and shade isn't too dark even for pale skintones. It creases on my oily eyelids but I have a general problem with most of eye primers or cream shadows. On the other hand, my sister really likes it. I do recommend it to people who generally don't have problems with creasing.

Liquid Concealer Fair - 1,50£, link
Not a big fan of this concealer. I had high expectations but it just oxidises terribly on my skin. Looks even too dark for my fair skintone (suitable for NC20 I guess) and I can't get rid of that plastic/silicon feeling when I'm applying it. Coverage is sheer but might work for darker skintones.

Nail Polish Cool Days - 1£, link
It's a standard mint nail polish that's enough opaque with 2 layers. It lasted about a day on me but again - I have general problems with lasting power with all nail polishes. I also find it a bit soft even after drying up. For a pound, it's an okay nail polish.

Salvation Intense Lacquer in Nothing like you and I - 3£ , link
I was really impressed with this liquid lipstick-gloss hybrid. Looks like an ugly orange-brick red in the tube but transfers like a perfect natural shade with a twist. It really compliments my skintone and freckles which I didn't expect. Feels really nice on the lips and stays put for good 4 hours. Doesn't have any particular scent. Highly recommend! I'm also intrigued by their Velvet line, I need those matte shades.

Amazing Lipstick and Matte Lipsticks - 1£, link & link
For a pound I can't even complain even if everything went really bad.
Divine is a really unique peach-pink with white undertones. Kind of reminds me on Nyx India which is a rare color to spot. It's matte so the texture is a bit hard to apply but nothing a lip brush can't save.
The One has a perfect nude balance between pink and peach. It's a true nude so girls with darker skintone should be careful and consider this shade twice. It's soft and leaves a nice creamy finish. Not my favorite nude though.
Fusion looks like a dark wine color in the tube but transfers as a sheer berry color. Slightly drying and matte.
I don't know. The quality is not the best, they open up in bags, they feel kind of plastic-y on the lips. Try them if you're on a budget and you're seeking for larger color selection.
